Music, Mothers, and Wonderful Food Mark Mother’s Day Brunch Celebration
The room was festooned in flowers and pastels, with tables filled to capacity for this popular SHCC event. Chef Diana and her kitchen staff combined with Catering Manager Dawn Hills, along with the volunteers and staff of decorators who worked long into the night Friday and Saturday, in preparation for one of the most successful Mother’s Day Brunches in recent SHCC history.

Hot Dishes Included Slow Roasted Prime Rib as well as an Omelet Bar featuring made-to-order omelets. Traditional Bacon, Sausage, Eggs Benedict, and French Toast were flanked with Buttermilk Fried Chicken, with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Jambalaya Seafood over Rice, and Asparagus Quiche.
A wide array of salads, pastries, cheeses, crackers, shrimp, salmon and filled out the cold buffet.
Deserts included a seemingly endless choice of individual pastries and the ever-popular Euphoria chocolate fountain.
The stream of happy Mothers and Families began at 10 AM and continued until well after 2PM, with the weather cooperating to make the day almost perfect in every way.
