Get Your Game In Shape with Titleist TPI Training

TPI-Nick

The Titleist Performance Institute is the the world’s leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. Since its inception in 2003, TPI has studied thousands of golfers ranging from the top professional tour players to weekend enthusiasts. An incredible amount of data on players of all shapes, sizes, ages, and fitness levels has been gathered during this time.

Using this data, TPI discovered how a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible. Additionally, TPI has analyzed how physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury.

We at Shadow Hills are lucky to have our own TPI Certified Trainer in Nick Mainenti. During a recent “Introduction to TPI” seminar, Nick outlined the advantages of the TPI system for swing evaluation, strength and conditioning.  And now, Nick is offering a special TPI training package for Shadow Hills Country Club members.

In a recent Wall Street Journal article, “How the Pros Get Their Bodies Ready – The Key to Fixing Your Golf Swing Is Synching It With Your Physical Limitations” you will find a great deal of information, as well as an outline of benefits for even the most casual beginner who just wants to improve their enjoyment of the game.

Nick is offering a specially priced, 8 Week Golf Fitness Program, using TPI at its core.

Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) has developed a Functional Movement Screen that consists of 16 mobility and stability assessments. These testing panels are designed to pinpoint physical imbalances that could hinder the potential of your golf swing, or even lead to reawakening of previous injuries or contributing to new ones.

With the results of the screening process, I will custom build you an 8 Week Golf Fitness Program with TPI exercises to dramatically increase balance, coordination, flexibility and rotational power. Strengthening golf specific muscles and movement patterns can result in lower scores, as well as increased stamina and overall health.

Titleist Performance Institute encourages taking a team approach to your golf game. As a TPI Fitness Instructor, I provide 100% transparency with your Swing Coach and Medical Professional to ensure you play your best golf!
