SHADOW HILLS SENIOR MEN (SHSM) Mid- Season Report

SHADOW HILLS SENIOR MEN (SHSM) Mid- Season Report:  The 11^th year of the Shadow Hills Senior Men’s Golf Group (SHSM) has reached the ½ point of the season.   We have completed eight events and have 10 remaining events!  Players have earned 44,000 SHSM points with 56,000 still available so anyone can get hot and win the prestigious 2019 Mason Cup!  Our next event is the July major at Shadow Hills on Friday July 12 plus we have two July away events scheduled at Tokatee on July 22 and at Willamette Valley Country Club on July 29.  The group includes 71 Shadow Hills Men golfers who are 50 years old or older.  New members are welcome to join us for any event or for the rest of the season and enjoy some great fellowship and relaxed but competitive golf!    Contact the golf shop or Steve Mason at 541-521-6782 for more information!

NEW PLAYERS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US:  Eligibility is limited to Senior Men who are Shadow Hills members born before January 1, 1970.  Our fees are $10 per event or players can join for the season for the prorated fee of $70 in July.  Annual membership includes the year end finals and dinner plus the SHSM point game.  Annual members also receive entry priority for the away events to sign up 30 days in advance.  Others may join us for any event at Shadow Hills and sign up 7 days in advance for all away events if space is available.

SIGNUP PROCEEDURES:  Sign up online under “EVENTS” on the ForeTees system or contact the golf shop to sign up.

Monday July 22 at Tokatee (5,000 points) – 9:26 AM Tee Times – Sign ups start June 22 – $47/walk – $62/ride – 48 Player Limit – Currently 32 players are registered and we have room for 16 more players

Monday July 29 at Willamette Valley – BONUS EVENT (NO SHSM points) – With the WV Seniors – $25 fee includes lunch – 30 Player Limit – Sign ups start June 29 (SEE ATTACHED FLYER)

Tuesday August 20 at Illahe Hills CC – (5,000 points) –  Tee Times TBA – 36 Player Limit – Sign ups start July 20

Tuesday August 27 at Tualatin CC—(5,000 points) – Tee Times start at 1:24 PM  – 32 Player Limit – Sign ups start July 27

Tuesday September 3 at Shadow Hills – RED TEE DAY – (5,000 points) – 10:00 AM Tee Times – Sign up now – 52 Player Limit – Currently 17 players are registered and we have room for 35 more players

Thursday September 5 and Friday September 6 – FINALS – (18,000 points) –  Includes Dinner on September 6 –  Day 1: 10:00 AM tee times  –  Day 2: Shotgun start at 9:15 AM – Sign up now – 52 Player Limit – Currently 18 players are registered and we have room for 34 more players

Mid-September – Dates TBA – BONUS EVENT – Presidents Cup—Two team event (optional)

Monday October 7 at Shadow Hills – BONUS EVENT – Host the Willamette Valley Seniors – Pizza After Golf – $20 fee for Pizza and prize fund
