This is a very important year in the history of our club, so we ask that you take the time to read the bios, and choose accordingly ( you can choose up to three).
The board represents the membership in their duty to suggest and inform the staff and administration through their work on the various SHCC committees.
VOTES ARE DUE BY 1PM TOMORROW- Oct 14th.  Votes received after that time will not be counted.

Mason Cup Senior Men’s Winner
In one of the greatest “Come From Behind” wins ever, Rufus Hanley won the 2-day Shadow Hills Senior Men’s Finals event (played on September 3rd) with a 6 under par score of 78 Stableford points, winning 2,176 points “Mason Cup Points). Hanley entered the final event in 20th place in the Mason Cup point standings with 1,835 points and the win pushed him up to 4,011 and just enough to win the Mason Cup. Gordon Groshong, who started the finals in first place with 3,918, dropped to 2nd. Jim Hurd moved up from 4th to 3rd place.

Glowball “Swingin’ for a Cure” Event Planned
Join us for our inaugural Swingin for a Cure Glow Ball Tournament presented by Kendall Cares on Friday, October 22, 2021It’s the second most fun you’ll have in the dark.

There will be a silent auction with some amazing packages, a 50/50 raffle, and prizes, including a prize for the BEST DRESSED Team. All proceeds will go to Allan Benavides’ REAL MEN WEAR PINK Campaign for American Cancer Society.

We are proud to support Allan Benavides, long time SHCC member and Eugene Emeralds General Manager, in his goal to raise more than $10,000 as a REAL MEN WEAR PINKrepresentative. He is joining a group of distinguished community leaders who are determined to raise awareness and money to support the American Cancer Society’s mission and save more lives than ever before from breast cancer. SHCC members are welcome to invite non-members to play in their group.

SHCC Day of the Dead Dinner/Auction/Fundraiser
Get your table now for our annual “Day of the Dead” dinner and auction, October 29th 5:30 until you drop.
Table of 8/$700, so get your friends together for a good time.  Contact Laura In the front office, for Reservations.
Our very own Matt Hogan will be our auctioneer.

Day of the Dead Gala MENU
Hord d’oeuvres: Chorizo empanada, rolled chicken tacos, mini bean tostadas
Salad: Mexican Caesar with avocado, tomato, cotija cheese, and roasted sweet chilis
Entrée: Dungeness crab and shrimp enchiladas in a house made salsa Verde and
Braised beef short ribs in mole with a roasted corn succotash, and a black bean ragout
Dessert: House made churros with black berry sauce

Dec. 8th – SAVE THE DATE for the Shadow Hills Women’s annual Holiday Luncheon and Fundraiser! Festivities begin at 11a, details to follow!
