On Thursday, July 8th, Shadow Hills is very proud to welcome the Justin Herbert Invitational Tournament. However, because of the size and scope of this event, the entire SHCC facility will be closed, and the tournament does not allow spectators. But, there is an opportunity for you to have the chance to buy a ticket to the “After Event Gala,” following the tournament at 5:30.
IF YOU WANT A CHANCE TO BUY UP TO TWO TICKETS for $125 Each, (which benefits Kids Sports), Send a response by email to Dave Shelton dshelton@shadowhillscc.org by Wed. June 23rd at 5PM.

Pool Guest Policy Defined
With a full membership, and a growing number of Social Memberships, it is imperative that we institute a strict Pool Policy to insure a reasonable number of pool participants.
Until Further Notice- The Pool Is Restricted to Members, and their Immediate Family.
The Definition of “Immediate Family” means, children, parents and grandchildren of the actual Membership Holder.
To further define; “guests” do not include siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles or friends.
Additionally, any immediate family guest (not part of the actual listed Membership) will be charged a “Guest Fee,” of $6 for adults, and $3 for each child. You are asked to register at the “Snack Shack” when you arrive.
FOOD & BEVERAGES MUST BE PURCHASED THROUGH THE POOL SNACK SHACK. Pool participants are not allowed to order from the lounge or restaurant, and then have the meal delivered to the pool area. Please respect this policy, as we need to reserve the pool for actual members at this time.

New Expanded Restaurant and Lounge Hours
With Covid designations relaxing, we are able to expand our restaurant and lounge hours once again. It’s best to call ahead for reservations, but the hours to do so have been expanded! The hope is to add breakfast back on Fridays.

Wednesday – 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
Thursday – 10:00 am – 9:00 pm

Pro Shop Specials and Club Fittings
Just a quick reminder that Cobra and Ping will be here on Friday between 12pm-5pm to help you get fit in some new clubs! Callaway will also be here on an appointment based fitting day. However, if you did not get one of the available times Colin or Gary will be out on the range to assist you in finding the right Callaway equipment. Gary and Colin are on Callaway Professional Staff, so they play the clubs themselves and know the product to help you get the right clubs for your game!

Covid Designations Back to “Extreme” Altering Food and Beverage
Unfortunately, the Covid cases for Lane county have jumped again, causing us to hit “Extreme” in Covid Designations. This affects our Food and Beverage service in both the lounge and the dining room. But we will offer a wide variety of options in outdoor seating and menu options.
Here are the basics…and new hours (STARTING FRIDAY).
Starting Friday (and likely for 3 weeks), we will have no indoor seating in the lounge or dining room. We are going to serve the patio area, open the shack window, do “to go” food available.
Our hours will be:
Friday 11-7:30 pm
Saturday limited breakfast from 9am-11am
Lunch from 11- 7:30pm
Sunday same as Saturday limited breakfast 9-11 am
Lunch from 11-7:00pm
Monday we are open from 11 am -6pm
Tuesday and Wednesday 11am-6pm
Thursday 11-7:30
We will be running lounge menu Fri and Saturday with a couple of “dinnerish type specials” CHECK WITH YOUR SERVER FOR FOOD AND DRINK SPECIALS
Covid Cancels Mother’s Day Event
Unfortunately, the recent uptick in cases in our county has moved us once again to a higher level of restrictions, causing the cancellation of the Mother’s Day brunch. We are planning on scheduling an event that will cover both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Watch this space for the future.

SHCC Junior Camp Sign Ups Begin
The Shadow Hills annual Junior Camp for children 5-15 years of age is on our schedule for Monday-Wednesday, July 26th -28th. The junior camp is a great way to introduce or maybe stimulate your kids into a lifetime of the game we have gained so much enjoyment from. Attached is information and registration form.
Kids ages 5-8 will gather from 8:30am to 10:30am(check in at 8am) on Monday and Tuesday, while the older golfers aged 9-15 get together from 10:30am to 12:30pm(check in at 10am). Please check in for your session on the half hour prior to camp each day. On Wednesday July 28th, all participants are involved in camp from 9am till 11:00 (check-in at 8:30) and then we adjourn to the pool area for a pool party and BBQ.
Cost per camper is $90 and you can sign your child or grandchild up in the golf shop. This should be a great way for the kids to have some fun and learn about the rules, etiquette and techniques for playing golf. See you at the club!

We are starting to get our Men’s Summer golf shoes in! If you are looking for a more casual golf shoe, we just got the brand new Nike Air Max 90 Golf shoe in the shop. Nike has made the Air Max running shoe into a golf shoe to make you feel like you are walking on air on the course this summer.

Next Wednesday, April 14th is the Women’s Opener to kick off the start of the season! We just got brand new ladies Adidas, Nike and Sport Haley . We got new jackets, polos, skorts as well as shoes from adidas to make you look styling on the course. All the new apparel as well as adidas shoes will be 35% off the retail cost, so make sure you stop by that day even if you are not playing in the opener!
Demo Day Information
Tomorrow is our first demo day of the year as Taylormade will be here from 3 PM- 6 PM. If you did not get signed up in one of the time slots, do not worry. Colin or Gary will be on the range to help those that did not get signed up and help you find the right equipment! We will also have Callaway and Cobra here on May 14th from 10AM- 3 PM to get you fit. Once again, if you did not get one of the time slots that was previously sent out, we will have one of our staff out on the range for drop ins to hit the new equipment.
