Men’s League Delayed – May Crazy 8 Cancelled

The ongoing specter of Covid-19, continues to mess with scheduled events. Gary has moved the start of Men’s League back a week to May 12^th. B League is FULL…A League still has room for a few teams. Get your sign up sheets in now!
The May 28^th Crazy 8 Event has been cancelled. Here’s hoping things get “back to normal” before the July Western Days event!

Take Out Menu Expanded Service Days/Items
We are pleased to announce that we are expanding our Take Out food service to a full 7 Days a Week. In addition, we have expanded hours to 10a-4p, with expanded menu items perfect for grabbing “on the turn,” or by calling the number ahead, on the menu below.

SHCC- Policies and Procedures for the Next 30 Days

Shadow Hills Country Club remains committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 outbreak and have implemented safety precautions according to CDC guidelines.

In our efforts to deal with the current limitations being implemented on a State and National level, we are implementing the following policies for the next 30 days at Shadow Hills.

The golf course will remain open.
All food and beverage service will be “to go” only. SEE MENU ATTACHED
We will provide a limited menu Wed-Sunday with hours of operation from 11 to 4.
Club food minimums will be suspended until the third quarter of the year.
All banquet business will be suspended until the 13^th of April.
Easter brunch at the club is cancelled.
All committee meetings are cancelled until further notice.
We have set up a fund that members can contribute to for the purpose of helping to financially support those hourly employees affected by the restaurant and banquet layoffs.

Our hope is to provide you with a sliver of normalcy as uncertainty continues to grow. So, if you’re looking for a stress relief, fresh air, and exercise we will be here for you!

Security Alert for Parking Lots

We have had a couple of recent “smash and grab” car thefts from our member parking lot recently. Please be sure not to leave any valuables in your car, and certainly no visible. And if you see anyone in the lot who doesn’t look like they belong, contact the front desk immediately. While this is an extremely rare event, it has happened twice in the past two weeks. So, be on the lookout, and protect your valuables. Thanks!

Sauces Cooking Class Offered

David Hixson is teaching a new cooking class on Wednesday, March 4th at 5pm. The class will last approximately two hours. Attendees will learn how to make Hollandaise Sauce by hand and learn three classic variations. Of course, then we have to taste the sauces over some delicious treats, including fresh salmon, asparagus and a variation of Eggs Benedict. Be prepared to have fun and laugh while you learn.

The class costs $50 per person and includes all food and materials. Please sign up in the lounge or by contacting David Hixson. The class is limited to eight people, so don’t wait if you’d like to attend.

Paint Party Coming Up
We have scheduled another “Paint Lesson Party” for Feb 27^th. 2/27 6-8pm

$25 per painter Wine and appetizers are available for purchase during the class.
